It was reported that UAE-based operator group Etisalat had signed an international strategic cooperation with Huawei and the Export-Import Bank of China (EXIM), which will see the companies working together “to provide innovative new technologies and services across Middle East, Africa and Asia to enrich people’s life with emerging telecom technologies.” EXIM will “extend finance support” to the partners.
