The first Windows Phone 7 Mango phone has been unveiled in Japan.
The device, snappily named the Fujitsu IS12T, will be available in Q4, but only in Japan.
Fujitsu’s handset features a 3.7-inch screen and a staggering 13.2-megapixel camera. It weighs 113g and runs on CDMA, so wouldn’t work in the UK even if you imported one.
With 32GB of storage onboard, and 11 days standby, we’re very impressed with the spec of the handset.
Windows Phone 7 Mango was released to manufacturers yesterday and includes more than 500 improvements on the first version of Windows Phone 7.
These include e-mail conversation view, allowing you to quickly scan a whole conversation with a contact, threads that unify texts, emails and social networking chats and Internet Explorer 9, making the Windows Phone 7 browser almost on par with a desktop experience.
WMPoweruser broke the news Fujitsu would be bringing the first Windows Phone 7 Mango handset to the market last week. It passed through the FCC and Bluetooth certification and will launch on Japanese network KDDI.
The first Windows Phone 7 Mango handsets will arrive in the UK in September too. The first leaked UK-bound handsets are the HTC Omega and Eternity and leaked LG Fantasy.
