It’s been a while since we got a taste of an LG flagship, so we were more than curious to spend some quality time with the company’s freshly launched Nitro HD for AT&T Wireless. As the highlight of its top of the line spec sheet, the LTE rocking smartphone boasts an award winning, 4.5″ AH-IPS LCD screen with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution – more than enough to spark our interest.

Now on with the specs. Along with its state of the art display, the LG Nitro HD packs a Snapdragon chipset with two Scorpion cores, clocked at 1.5GHz. A gig of RAM is on board, along with 4GB of built-in storage. The latter is expandable via microSD card slot (16GB card comes in the box). An 8MP camera, capable of 1080p video recording is at hand, complemented by a front-facing unit for video calls.

The LG Nitro HD is a sleek and stylish device. Its measures are 133.9 x 67.8 x 10.4 mm, and its weight tips the scale at 127 grams – quite pocket friendly for a phone of such size and massive functionality. An 1830 mAh battery is the power source of the device – we’ll tell you more about it in a separate post.
