Finding a place to stay used to be a roll of the dice. The internet lets us share our success stories (and horror stories) when searching for a great place to stay. ToucHotel by developer UserFans takes hotel searching and booking and makes it social, letting you view your Facebook friends’ reviews and share yours with others, all from within an app that lets you search and book hotels in over 30,000 worldwide destinations. You can view pictures of the hotel, read user reviews, and book from right within the app using a safe encrypted booking system.

iPhone App Review: Gravity Force

If you remember those little party favors consisting of a small plastic maze with a tiny metal ball, then you already get the gist of Gravity Force by Siemens AG. It’s a free skill game where you must guide a ball through a series of mazes to a small cup at the bottom. There are three levels of difficulty (representing the different forces of gravity on Earth, Moon, and Jupiter), as well as a section of Siemens science videos for more science fun.

If you don’t have enough quick-and-easy puzzle games on your device just yet, eefflab’s new puzzler Link Mon may be worthy of a slot on your iPhone’s home screen. Match the monster pairs in order to clear them from the cemetery, but do it fast because there is a time limit for each level. With over 100 board configurations and four modes of play, Link Mon is easy to learn and the games go by quickly. It has a little room for improvement but all in all is a fun game with a simple premise.
