LAS VEGAS, NV, January 5, 2011 – Samsung Electronics America Inc., a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Corporation, today announced from the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas the latest line up of 3D computer displays, HDTV/ monitors and a Home Theater projector incorporating Samsung’s proprietary 3D technology. Available in 23- and 27-inch configurations, the 7 and 9 Series monitors, along with the SP-A8000 1080p 3D Home Theater projector, will be available on display at Central Hall booth #12006, January 6-9, 2011.

Innovative 3D Performance
Samsung has reinvented the 3D monitor experience to allow its users to experience the wide variety of 3D content now available. Unlike other 3D solutions, which only work for video gaming, Samsung’s new 3D monitors and HDTV/monitors also allow users to enjoy 3D movies, 3D TV and user-created 3D content like 3D photos and 3D videos. In order to do this, Samsung has created a new 3D technology, based on 3D panels available only in Samsung displays.

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J., February 7, 2012 – Samsung Electronics America Inc., a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Corporation, today announced that reseller partner NWN Corporation, a national IT integrator formerly known as Western Blue, has been awarded the new printer contract by the State of California Department of General Services. The contract will provide new Samsung printers and offer a recycling program for State agencies for the next three to five years. Samsung and NWN developed a program that focused on cost-savings and energy-efficient features, winning against 14 competing bids. The contract is mandatory for State Agencies and is available to all local governments, public eduational institutions and special districts throughout California.

Berlin , Germany -1 st September 2006 – Samsung Electronics introduced the largest Mobile TV based on terrestrial DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) with a screen size of 10 inches to provide viewing excitement on the move. This Mobile TV will open up the era where everyone will have their own TV – one for each person.
Samsung positioned itself as the undisputed leader in the Mobile TV market by creating the first terrestrial DMB terminal in September 2004, developing portable DMB receiving technology and releasing the first 6 inch Mobile TV in July 2005.
The design of the new Mobile TV is in line with the “sensitivity design” of the company’s R7 LCD TV (“ Bordeaux ”) series. As for features, it provides high-quality video and audio based on excellent mobile receiving characteristics. It is expected to be used as a mobile digital TV at home, where it provides great picture quality free of network connections.
The largest among Mobile TVs, the 10 inch screen is configured for the 16:9 aspect ratio that is optimal for showing digital broadcasting. MP3 and digital photo viewing functions are added, and connection to an external HDD is provided for playing downloaded multimedia content.
Senior Vice President Sang Heung Shin of Samsung’s Visual Display Division says, “We made efforts to shift the concept of TV from a fixed, family-oriented device to a more mobile, personal gadget. This will bring even greater change than was created by the portable cassette player in the music industry.”
